WHAT WE DO

At Nexus we specialise in international research and development by bringing innovative approaches to meet the world's toughest development challenges.

We provide education, research, consulting and program management services to public, private and third sector organisations internationally. Our aim is to improve the world we live in through the work we carry out.
We are an independent organisation funded by commercial business contracts.
We work in partnership with universities and other HEI and research organisations in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Please note! The Nexus Group have successfully transferred all programs to their NGO network, local universities and Universitas 21 to ensure the continued growth and sustainability of our work.  We would like to thank our partners for their wonderful support over the last 25 years.  We hope our legacy lives on in the Nexus programs.  All staff have now (at January 2023) transferred to their new posts therefore please contact the senior team directly if you have queries.  Thank you.

This website will close at the end of March.

OUR TEAMS

We are a small, highly specialized research based organisation, headquartered in Europe and working globally.  We have offices throughout Europe and independent satellite offices in Chennai, India; Cape Town, South Africa; and Edinburgh, UK.

Our network of consultants, researchers & lecturers are highly qualified, experienced, ethical and committed to finding the best solutions possible. They work with partner organisations to tackle fundamental social and economic development challenges around the globe.

We bring extensive experience and understanding of what works to each and every project. As a result, we are able to work effectively in even the most challenging environments.

Our teams work closely with international higher education & research institutions to deliver projects. We are trusted partners to our clients and work collaboratively to ensure safe, sensitive, effective and efficient service delivery.

We work with a wide range of clients including local governments, private and public corporations, multi-lateral donors and national non-governmental organisations.

Our aim is to combine academic strength through research and teaching with an understanding of the needs of business and the commercial world.  Our international education program supports students globally and we take great pride in our Women for Leadership initiative.

Updates - Nexus legacy

October 2022

All the Nexus programs, both research and education, are being transferred to local universities and Universitas 21 during the 2022 to 2023 academic year, to ensure the growth and sustainability of tour work in the long term.  We are grateful for all the support we have received during the transition period.

At this time it seems likely that we will have completed the transfers ahead of schedule and all staff and programs will have transferred by the end of 2022.

The senior team will remain to the end of the academic year to answer all queries.

Please contact is on our direct email addresses.

Thank you.
